to Nefydd Stud Home Page Croeso I Hafan Nefydd Stud The Nefydd Stud of Welsh Ponies started over 50 years ago by Margaret's mother Mrs M C Williams. The story of the 'Start of it all' can be read in the 1963 WPC Green Journal The owner of the Nefydd stud is Mrs. Margaret Edwards, who has been involved in breeding and showing of Welsh Ponies Section A's, B's and Part-Breds all her life. Located in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd, renowned for its wonderful views of hill and vale. Only a short distance from the main A55 through North Wales. The stud has been very successful in the show ring over the years, winning major shows at home and abroad. Ponies from Nefydd have been exported all over the world. The Nefydd ponies are bred for quality and type. Our aim at the stud is to breed ponies with good temperaments, which will go on to perform under saddle. A warm welcome is extended to all visitors by appointment.
